I hope you are well and continuing to manage during these strange times. I have been in touch with a number of you and Peter Jones in checking in with a few others, at present everyone seems to be coping.

I would like to thank all of you who responded to my request to send their Alms/Raffle money through to the Lodge account. The money will be going to the HDMC Covid Relief Appeal

HDMC is supporting the above appeal from Provincial Grand Lodge by re-opening its kitchen at the Centre to prepare up to 500 pre-packed nutritious meals per day. These are being delivered to the Salvation Army and to the Harrow Voluntary & Community Sector Forum for onward delivery to the people they have identified as needing a daily hot meal.

The first delivery was made on Monday 20th April 2020 and in the first week they have supplied 1570 meals. They require donations to pay for the food, packaging and delivery.

At the time of publishing this on our website, over £76,000 has been donated and 2,500 meals each week are being provided. The scheme is planned to run until 30th September by which time 50,000 meals will have been provided.
